The design process begins with an initial complimentary consultation. I want to know what your general needs and wants are for your space. It is important for me to get a feeling for your likes and dislikes at this time.
The next meeting will include conceptual sketches about spatial planning. At this time I will make in-depth inquiries about color, hardscape and plant material preferences. We will also discuss specific challenges and desires you may have.
For the final meeting I will present the final plan. It will be a working drawing including hardscape and plant selection details and cost estimates. Lightning and irrigation plans are also available if desired as well as maintenance plans.
Fees for design work are contractually structured based on scope of work estimated. Fees for the final plan do not include any costs for materials or installation. Additional fees may apply for communications outside of formal meeting times.

| RESTORATION |
Our restoration services focus on reuse of existing elements in the landscape. Greenspace will provide you with a detailed report of our assessment. The following are just a few examples of recommendations we might make:
- Reshape an overgrown maple
- Reseed lawn
- Repair sprinklers
- Replace path edging
- Replenish decomposed granite
- Treat rhododendrons for thrips and scale insects
Restoration services are billed on an hourly rate.
| MAINTENANCE |
Our maintenance services are based on a naturalistic aesthetic. We are not a mow and blow, ball and cube kind of company. We believe that plants should be allowed to “be who they are” and we aim to facilitate that in the most appropriate way possible at the same time maintaining the design and use plan of the overall site. We also believe that the natural processes of nature should be allowed to take place whenever possible for optimal garden and environmental health.
We offer the following landscape maintenance services:
- Pruning
- Fertilizing
- Plant health (controlling insect and disease issues)
- Turf care
- Weed control
- Mulching
- Irrigation repair and maintenance
- Deadheading
- Plant replacement as needed or desired.
Maintenance services are billed on an hourly rate.

She keeps her clients’ needs in mind, listens patiently, and guides a problem-solving planning process that encourages considering a variety of approaches to the landscaping.
